The tuition for 2009-2010 is $7300.

We offer 2 payment plans:

1. The first is the quarterly payment plan. Payments are made 4 times a year (August, October, January and March)
   
   
2. The second is the monthly payment plan. This is a ten month plan beginning in August and ending in May.

Yes, Academic scholarships  (full, half and partial awards) are awarded only to Grade 9 incoming students, based on the TACHS Exam.

Financial Aid applications are available during registration. Bishop Loughlin provides help in filling out the applications at a special session in April. See the Scholarships/Financial Aid pages for more information.

The average class size is 18-23 students.

Yes. Advance Placement courses are offered in:

• World History
• United States History
• English Literature.

Yes. Bishop Loughlin has partnered with BOYS HOPE GIRLS HOPE of NEW YORK, a nonprofit organization, to operate an urban boarding school.  Although Bishop Loughlin is a co-ed school, the boarding program is only open to young men.  See the Boarding Program pages for more information.

 

Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School is located in the historic Clinton Hill / Fort Greene section of Brooklyn; a residential neighborhood, surrounded by refurbished brownstones and academic institutions on tree-lined streets. Clermont, Greene, Lafayette and Vanderbilt Avenues bound the school building. It is easily accessible by public transportation.

We have open house twice a year:

• The Fall Open House is October 19, 2008 from 1:00pm to 3:30pm.
  
  
• The Spring Open House is February 26, 2009 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
  
  

Parents and students are encouraged to attend.
